What Is The Potential Of Interactivity In Print?

Interactive print had now grown due to the ubiquity of mobile devices. With this extra dimension businesses can now expand their visual presence through the technology that is now available. It opens people up to a whole new form of interaction and can engage a huge  audience from young children to adults. Seen as print can only go so far, and how technology is expand so quickly, I feel including digital interactivity can only benefit the printed form, giving it a new sense of life. 

Can Augmented Design Help Draw People To Your Website?

The augmented aspect within my camping will definitely help draw people to my website. I can include links across all medias I use, that will enable viewers to connect to the website either through searching the links, or scanning QR codes that will take them directly to the site. I think the app will draw people further, as once used, it takes the viewer automatically to the website, hopefully encourage them to engage and interact with it. The augmented design creates another element altogether than will engage viewers than the normal printed advertisement. It creates an added opportunity to influence more of my target audience. 

Is It All Just A Bit Gimmicky? Or, Are There Opportunities?

I think it depends on how augmented design is used. I have seen a number of businesses and campaigns that uses augmented design for the sake of it. I think this discourages the idea of augmented design but if used properly I think it can be a huge success. I think augmented design needs to be used if needed and to add to a product rather than define it completely. In my opinion, if something does not work without the augmented design before hand, I think it is not successful. I feel it should push the design further and not solely be dependable upon it. 

What Kind Of Interactivity Would Be Effective For My Campaign?

I feel a light-hearted interactivity would be effective for my campaign  This is due to my website having this same tone of voice. It is a website where people can engage their thoughts and opinions and so feel it needs to be something that shows personality. I think directing people to where they can voice their opinions will be the most successful within the campaign as it is platform for them to be heard.
