Responsive, Collaborative Brief: Propercorn Finals & Evaluation - OUGD503

I am extremely pleased with this collaborative brief. I think our group has worked well together and each contributed something at each stage. Although sometimes I am wary about working in a group, I have had no trouble with the peers I have worked with this time. Another worry is working with friends but regardless of this I think we have all worked well together, I feel because of the friendship we have been able to express concerns as well as ideas freely and openly to one another. I am slightly concerned I may have not contributed as much as I would have liked but still completed all the tasks that were mine to do. I think we developed a strong concept and idea and applied it to Propercorn. Even though we did not change the design too far from the original, it is the ethos of 'Done Properly' that we have explored and brought to life. I think using the idea of the cinema and applying this to an augmented element will engage the correct target audience, as the app we created is not childish with its content. The trailer videos as well as the option to purchase Propercorn is much suited to the audience compared to just doing a single video or game element. The brief suggested to take into consideration of how we would engage the viewer. I feel with the augmented element, this has done this. The app and scan idea is perfect for commuting as well as dinner breaks when eating Propercorn. I think as a whole this has been a successful responsive brief, which has made me enjoy working in a group more so than I have before.
