I am extremely disappointed with the outcome for the Moo brief. It was one of the briefs that I most excited about doing and instead it took a step back. This was due to be taking more time and other large briefs and not time-tabling myself accordingly when I developed more on other briefs. I feel it works as a small brief but seen as this was a YCN brief, am disappointed I did not tackle this brief first. I feel this has been my weakest work within the responsive module but has taught be a huge lesson that I can apply to other modules as well as next year. I would definitely timetable myself much more appropriately next time, although normally I am quite good with keeping on top of my work. If I had started this brief earlier on, I would have liked to have experimented with the paper-craft. I would still use the same concept as I feel I developed something with interest and strong meaning however the visuals let it down. Although the posters communicate a concept I am happy with, I do not think they are well suited to Moo. I feel the brand identity is much more fun and bold and the posters do not do the brand justice.
In saying that it has been interest to strip down my ideas and develop something simple and to the point. It has taught me to stop over thinking things, try more striped back ideas rather than bombarding my outcome with tons of information. This is something I will attempt again, however this time I just do not think the visuals are suited to the brand. As I was so keen to do the brief I may re-visit this in the summer and develop and idea that I am happy with. In the time frame I am happy with what I have achieved but just wish I would have time-tabled myself better with this brief.
